After a couple of weeks of warm spring weather, winter is back in Verbier. Over the last couple of days we have received over 50 cm of fresh snow in resort. The week began with rain showers up to 2.000 metres, but on Tuesday night the temperature dropped and brought down the freezing level to 1.000 metres. It’s white in town again and the snow conditions on the slopes are amazing!
Snow conditions – Verbier
Last week we just had enough snow to ski down to Verbier, but now the road down is in great condition. Also skiers on Savoleyres will enjoy a superb last week and it will be possible to ski back to the frontside to enjoy lunches at Marmotte and Namasté. Higher up the mountain there is some good powder to be found, including the areas of Mont Fort and Gentianes.
Current snow conditions:
Attelas – 300 centimetres
Ruinettes – 193 centimetres
Verbier – 4 centimetres
Weather forecast
It looks like it will be clearing up and we will have a beautiful week ahead, starting tomorrow. The resort will stay open until the 26th of April, so don’t hesitate contact us if you would like to book a lesson.
