One of the best ski resorts in the world, located on a sunny plateau above the picturesque valley of “Val de Bagnes”.
Verbier has a worldwide reputation for its huge skiing and snowboarding area, fantastic powder, and challenging off-piste terrain. More than 1 million visitors come to Verbier each year to ski, play golf or just enjoy the great mountain views.
From the gentle nursery slopes in town, you can progress to the blue runs at Savoleyres, Lac des Vaux or La Chaux. There is a great selection of red runs from Attelas and for the more adventurous skier there are endless possibilities of challenging off-piste terrain.
"Verbier offers all the Alpine charm of a small Swiss Village
combined with the essential entertainments of a larger city"
The local sports centre caters for all your sporting needs; there are 3 supermarkets, a cinema, electrical stores, butchers and bakers, and a large variety of sports and clothes shops. Of course there are also lots of bars and restaurants, 4 nightclubs for the après ski where celebrities such as Hugh Grant, Les Ferdinand, Gary Barlow, Victoria Beckham and James Blunt can sometimes be found.
