Spring is here!
The month of March has only just started, but Spring has found its way towards the Alps. After a few weeks of snowfall and only a little bit of sunshine, we have finally got what we deserve after all the hard work of half-term: sunshine!
The last couple of days have been very warm spring days with temperatures getting up to over 16 degrees Celsius in the valley near Sion. If we look at the forecast for next week more sunshine and temperatures of zero degrees around Chalet Carlsberg. Not too bad you might say, but high temperatures will affect the snow conditions and hopefully the next snowfall won’t be too far away…
