Half-term is approaching and it looks like the snow conditions are improving in time for these busy weeks. Over the last few weeks we have received a lot of snow, over a metre in total! We can now forget about the patchy snow over the Christmas period and look forward to a perfect few weeks ahead.
The last couple of days we had snowfall almost every day. Yesterday morning we woke up to an unexpected layer of 10 cm fresh snow and we finally got to see all the powder junkies skiing down from every single couloir in Verbier.
BUT, we would like to remind you that the weak layers from December still exist. They might be hidden under a meter of snow, but they are still there. Please don’t take any unnecessary risks this season, ride safe and choose to ski with a qualified mountain guide.
More snow coming the next days, enjoy!
Current snow conditions:
Verbier – 45 cm
Ruinettes – 140 cm
Attelas – 144 cm
