The 2013-2014 winter season is full swing with just a few days left before New Years Eve! With approximately 30 centimetres of fresh snow just after Christmas we can conclude that Santa Claus delivered the right present at right moment!
After over than a month without a proper dump of snow the 4Vallées area really needed new snowfall. The resort is very busy with people celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve, so all the pressure on the slopes wasn’t making the conditions any better, until Wednesday night! A big dump arrived over night and finally turned Verbier back into winter wonderland again.
During Thursday a total 30 centimetres fell. On Friday we enjoyed a bluebird day with new lift and slope openings in Bruson and the Savoleyres area. Within 24 hours the complete resort looked back to normal and it has allowed the large number of people to enjoy good snow conditions while celebrating the festivities.
Over the next few days we will recieve some more fresh snow, and we are glad to have the winter back in town!
