The ski lifts closed at the end of April, officially ending the winter season 2014-2015. We can look back on another great season here at Altitude where we have been busy from the start right up until the end!
The start of the season was slow with closed slopes below Ruinettes over Christmas. For the first time we have seen many tourists booking lessons who were not staying in resort. Verbier was one of the only ski resorts in the region open at that time.
From 26th December the arrival of new snow allowed us to enjoy great powder skiing conditions and it was even possible to ski down to Le Châble. January, February and March were great both in terms of snowfall and sunshine. April was even better with a lot of snowfall during one week and sunshine during the following weeks. These conditions held up right ntil the last weekend of the ‘Ultime Session’ although it slowly seems to be becoming a tradition that the closing weekend brings bad weather…
Thank you for all your support and friendship. We hope to see you next winter!
