After a spring of mixed weather summer is slowly approaching here in Verbier. Over the past two months temperatures have been rising and falling and we have had late snowfalls. Currently there is still a lot of snow at high altitude. Despite this Verbier is gearing up for another summer season.
Verbier Bikepark is open
Althought there is still snow above Ruinettes, Verbier Bikepark opened today. Lifts are running between Le Châble and Ruinettes during the weekends in June and every day from the beginning of July. We are looking forward to a sunny biking season!
Trail running Verbier
During the summer there are various trail running competitions in the region. Last weekend the season kicked off with ‘Tour du Val de Bagnes’ and this weekend is the ‘Trail de la Pierre A Voir’. These races are training events for the biggest competition in early July- the ‘Trail Verbier-St.Bernard’.
