LATEST UPDATE & PICS OF THE NEW MONT GELÉ CABLE CAR
As you are perhaps aware over the summer months Téléverbier SA has been working hard to replace the “Les Attelas – Mont Gelé” cable car. A worker on the project has informed us that it is likely to be ready by mid-December 2017 (which is great news).
The result will be a fantastic new lift which will hopefully be open more regularly than the old lift. The reason for this is that although it will have the same capacity per hour as the previous lift, the big difference will be that the new lift will have two main cables. This will mean the new lift will be much more stable in the wind.
Great news for all advanced skiers in Verbier looking to explore the Mt Gele ski area. Check out below some of the latest pictures of this exciting new addition to the Verbier lift system.
