Over the last week the Verbier ski resort received about 30 cm of fresh snow above Ruinettes and this resulted in the opening of the slopes Attelas, Ruinettes and La Chaux this weekend.
Yesterday the sun was out all day and locals and weekend visitors enjoyed the great atmosphere. The conditions were outstanding at Lac des Vaux and the other slopes held up well despite the warm temperatures. Today was a bit more overcast and snow started to wear a little thin in patches because of the weather conditions.
It is also good to see more restaurants and bars opening in town and on slopes. This weekend we were able to take in the sunshine on the terrace on Carlsberg Chalet and Fer a Cheval.
We are excited to see more slopes opening each weekend are awaiting the arrival of more snow over the coming month to keep the pistes in good condition. The resort is open for the weekend until the 1st of December when it will open every day. If you wish to book a ski or snowboard lesson, don’t hesitate to contact us or visit us in the Altitude office.
