The ski resort of Verbier opened up the Lac des Vaux slopes again this weekend. After the opening last weekend we all hoped that the piste Attelas-Ruinettes would also open this weekend, but unfortunately there was not enough fresh snow to make it possible this week.
Yesterday we enjoyed a snowy day on Lac des Vaux and after a night of heavy snowfall we were happy to ski the first powder of the season today! Unfortunately the snow fell too late for Televerbier to prepare the slope all the way down to Ruinettes, but the people who tried the run down reported that the snow conditions were very good.

It looks like we are going to receive some more fresh snow over the next 24 hours and after that the sun will arrive for a few days with mixed temperatures. Fingers crossed it stays cold so that we can enjoy the opening of Attelas – Ruinettes next week!
