Half-term is approaching and here in Verbier we are getting ready for the busy holiday weeks. Over the last few weeks we have received a good amount of snow and this week it has been sunny in the resort. The current snow conditions are good with a base of 160 cm on Attelas, 120 cm on Ruinettes and 44 cm in Verbier.

January brought us just what we needed- deep powder and lots of fresh snowalls. At the start of the month we only enjoyed powder days high up the mountain, but over the last couple of weeks it has been very cold and we have been able to enjoy great conditions all the way down to resort. The biggest snow fall which occurred two weeks ago even made it possible to ski all the way down to Le Châble.

At the moment the temperature is a little bit higher than the seasonal average. Over the next few days the temperature will drop and it looks like we will have some fresh snow arriving at the start of the half-term holidays.
