It looks like Verbier is getting a great season opening this Saturday (December 1st). If we look at the weather forecast we might expect 40cm of fresh snow the coming days. However, the maps are changing by the minute, so I can’t tell you how much it will be exactly. Somewhere between 30 and 50cm I think. We’ve got to watch the temperature as well the coming days, as freezing level is around 2.000 meters right now.
It’s quiet on the slopes at the moment as you can see on the pictures I made yesterday. So if you would like to enjoy some good powder and a quiet season start, then I would advice you to come over this Friday as the sun might be back by then!
