The countdown to the winter season is on with just one week left until the expected opening weekend. One week ago we received approximately 30 cm of fresh snow and we are hoping that Televerbier will be able to open Lac des Vaux on 31st October. Over the next few weeks we will keep you updated on the opening of the ski resort and for daily updates follow our Twitter account. Meanwhile we are keeping ourselves busy, enjoying the autumn sunshine and the events in the region.
Moustache day
This weekend is the closing weekend of the Verbier Bike Park. This weekend is traditionally celebrated with a ‘moustache day’ party, a bbq at Medran from 14h00 and an apèro from 16h30. Those with a moustache can eat for free.
Rallye International du Valais
The 56th ‘Rallye International du Valais’ will be coming back to the Val de Bagnes. The event will be held from 28th to 31st of October with Sion and Martigny being the host cities. On Saturday 31st of October the race will be coming to our region with a stage in Bruson. More information on the race can be found on the event website http://www.riv.ch.
