After a few weeks of sunshine some fresh snow has finally arrived in town over the weekend. During Saturday night and Sunday we have received approximately 30 centimeters and it looks like we will receive another 10-20 centimeters or so today and possible another 10cm before the end of the week!
Current snow conditions
Last week it was very busy in the 4Vallees. The snow conditions were good and now with the arrival of fresh snow over the last couple of days the conditions are even better! Halfway into the half-term holidays the snow base is a little bit thinner than the seasonal average, but with 50 centimeters in town and about 150 centimeters halfway up the mountain the snow conditions are still pretty great.
Weather forecast
This week is looking like a mixed bag of weather conditions. There is fresh snow forecasted until tonight, we might have some sunshine on Wednesday and Thursday and some more snowfall expected on Friday. The freezing level will be between 500 and 1600 meters, and average for this time of year.
