It looks like we’re getting the best season opening in ages, hopefully it won’t have any negative influence on the rest of the season. After a sunny skiing day on Saturday we had a worse one yesterday. It rained all the way up at Ruinettes, but during the evening/night the temperature dropped below zero. In Verbier village we’ve had a little bit of snow last night and it must have been much better above Ruinettes. The webcams are showing us that Attelas and Lac des Vaux received more than 20cm of fresh snow, NICE :-).
If we look at the weather forecast of this week we might get another 5-10 cm the next 24 hours above 1500 meters and it will stay cold until Wednesday. From then it will be a bit warmer probably, but the temperature will stay below zero at Lac des Vaux hopefully. At least we can be sure that Lac des Vaux is going to be amazing again when they open on Friday for the weekend! Last, but not least, keep your eyes open for Saturday as it might snow heavily above Ruinettes.
