Early January brought us what we needed, deep powder and lots of fresh snow. Over the last two weeks we have received over a meter of fresh snow in resort and we are currently enjoying great snow conditions.
The snow conditions are still very good with 122cm at Ruinettes and 165cm at Gentianes. Every single run is open between Bruson, Savoleyres and Verbier. That is 42 including itineraries, so this is a good opportunity to ski some new slopes if you haven’t had the chance yet.
Early in the morning the conditions are the best at Lac des Vaux and Gentianes. Below Ruinettes the slopes could be hard in the morning, but around noon the slopes will soften in the sun and conditions will slowly change.
With the forecast predicting good visibility every single day, it should be marvelous this week for skiing. Temperatures will be a little bit higher than the seasonal average with a freezing level between 2.000 and 3.000 metres.
If you are looking to book a lesson over the next few weeks, don’t hesitate to contact us. Particularly during the Half-term holidays we are getting pretty busy, so don’t wait until the last-minute!
